Help Norman Studios Silent Film Museum win the Community Challenge Award

CALL TO ACTION! THIS PLACE MATTERS

Help Norman Studios Silent Film Museum win the Community Challenge Award sponsored by the National Trust for Historic Preservation! Take two minutes of your valuable time to help us earn $25,000 for the restoration of one of Jacksonville’s most exciting landmarks. Just click on the link below and say “Norman Studios matters to me and all who treasure film and historic preservation.”

What/where is Norman Studios?

Located in Jacksonville, FL, Norman Studios is one of the remaining silent film studios in the country and the only intact reminder of Jacksonville’s heyday as the winter film capital of America! The renovated complex will include a film museum and offer film-related programs. It will also tell the story of Richard Norman, a white film
pioneer and inventor, who was one of the first filmmakers to make movies starring all-African-American casts, during an era of racial stereotyping.

PLEASE VOTE! FORWARD TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS SO THEY CAN VOTE!!
